FINAL. No returns or refunds are accepted. Please read our terms and conditions for each
auction prior to bidding on any item.
TERMS & CONDITIONS FOR PARTICIPATION IN ONLINE AUCTIONS
Special Terms of Sale: All property is sold AS IS, WHERE IS, and ALL SALES ARE FINAL-NO RETURNS. It is
the Bidder's responsibility to determine condition, age, genuineness, value or any other determinative factor.
Hampton House Auctions may attempt to describe the merchandise in advertising, on the Internet and at the auction but
makes no representations. In no event shall Hampton House Auctions be held responsible for having made or implied any
warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Bidder shall be the sole judge of value.
Hampton House Auctions will not be responsible for any errors or omissions in the description of the merchandise unless it
is a material and intentional misrepresentation of the item itself. Bidder agrees that everything is sold as is and that they
may not return any item they purchase.
Hampton House Auctions is providing Internet auction bidding as a service to Bidder. Bidder acknowledges and
understands that this service may or may not function correctly the day of the auction. Under no circumstances shall Bidder
have any kind of claim against Hampton House Auctions or anyone else if the Internet service fails to work correctly before
or during the timed auction. Hampton House Auctions will not be responsible for any missed bids from any source. Internet
bidders who desire to make certain their bid is acknowledged should use the proxy-bidding feature and leave their
maximum bid 24 hours before the auction ends. Hampton House Auctions reserves the right to withdraw or re-catalog items
in this auction.
Your credit card used upon registration will be automatically charged following the auction for your total bid price plus
buyer's premium and any applicable taxes. Buyers will be charged a second time for any purchases that are shipped.
All Sales are Final. Accepted forms of payment are Visa & Master Card or Cash on pick up. Local buyers may pay in cash
with correct amount including change if they contact Hampton House Auctions prior to their credit card being charged.
Buyers agree to waive any and all rights to initiate a credit card charge back against the transaction and/or the seller.
A 15% Buyer’s premium plus a .25 cent processing fee will be charged to the credit card on file. All South Carolina
residents will be charged 6% sales tax unless we have your tax number on file.
Auctions are a lot of fun, especially if it's your first and you
aren't really sure what's going on. This was my experience the
first live auction I attended. I thought I was bidding on one item
and ended up with something else when the Auctioneer called,
much to my surprise, the above quote. After that night, my wife
and I were hooked and we still laugh about it.

|Pick Up Policy & Shipping Procedures
- Shipping - Hampton House Auctions will handle all packing & shipping of merchandise for bidders that are 2
hours or more away. Anyone closer will need to contact us to request shipping. Customers will be billed the
actual shipping cost, (all packages are required to have insurance and tracking, (First Class and Media mail
included) packing material cost, and a handling fee based on the size of the order. WE DO NOT SHIP
FURNITURE or OVER SIZED ITEMS.
- Local Pickup - To help those that work late or with unforeseen delays we have changed our pickup times to
be between 11-6 pm at our warehouse location ONLY.
- Holding Orders - We understand that it is sometimes difficult for all our local buyers to make the scheduled
pickup times, therefore, we now have a holding policy as follows:
- Items will be held by Hampton House for not more than 3 days with prior notice that you will not be able to make
our scheduled pick by the close of that day. After 3 days any remaining items not picked up will be charged a
Holding fee of $5.00 on the registered credit card on file.
- A fee of $10.00 per piece on Furniture or large items (equipment, etc) that take up a lot of space with only a
5 day grace period until item is forfeited or resold. We do not have the space to hold furniture for you.
- Off Site Local Pick Up - In the event the check out/pick up is scheduled off site at an Estate location, the Bidder
will be charged $10 to revisit the property for you to pick up your merchandise OR if we transport your purchases
back to the warehouse for you to pick up at a later date. NOTE: We will not transport furniture, equipment
or oversized items for you from an ON SITE pick up, only smalls.
- Large Items - Furniture, Equipment of this size not picked up within 5 days will be forfeited without refund
and re-auctioned. Any moneys received on those items will be applied to storage fees.
- After one week - Auction House reserves the right to either ship your merchandise to you and charge your card
on file OR charge an additional storage fee $5.00 for second week and then $1.00 per day there after until item is
deemed forfeited or resold by Hampton House Auctions.
- Unclaimed Merchandise - Merchandise is declared Unclaimed and forfeited with no refund to bidder if not
picked up during scheduled date and time UNLESS the bidder has contacted Hampton House Auctions @
864-901-95987 or email: firstname.lastname@example.org and made other arrangements by the close of business on
the scheduled pick up day.
- Bidder's Responsibility - It is the bidder's responsibility to contact Hampton House Auction if they have not
picked up their merchandise. We will not be responsible for any damage that may happen to your purchase if not
picked up on the scheduled date and time nor will it be our responsibility to contact you regarding a missed pick
ups. All fees and terms will apply.
